Since 2020 we have seen too many drugs being rolled out faster and faster without years of study results. Besides that most clinical trials are done on ridiculous small groups of people, considering that the drugs will be used on millions of patients.
We need a complete overhaul of the drug approval system. Is it possible? I doubt it. $$$$ is always what counts most, and that means the health of entire nations comes second.
I don’t know what to make of these fast-tracking and ongoing approval reports from the FDA. Are the MAHA people just swamped by the old hold outs? Are their new “evidence-based” policies being hijacked or not grandfathered in?
