Given that the Truvada lawsuits are about to move through the courts, and that some cases have already been settled—for not nearly enough to compensate for the damages that have occurred—I have a poll for you today. Before we get to the poll, let me remind you of a few examples (links lead to the lawsuits) of the damage that has occurred to just a few plaintiffs (emphasis mine):
Decedent purchased and ingested the following TDF Drug for an FDA-approved use of the drug: Truvada beginning in 2008. As a result of Gilead's wrongful conduct with respect to the defective TDF Drug, Decedent ingested and was injured by the foregoing TDF Drug. Decedent’s ingestion of the TDF Drug caused and or contributed to Decedent suffering chronic kidney disease.
Plaintiff's ingestion of the TDF Drugs caused and/or contributed to Plaintiff suffering injuries to his kidneys, which resulted in a diagnosis of high creatinine levels and chronic kidney disease. Plaintiff's ingestion of the TDF Drugs also caused and/or contributed to Plaintiff suffering bone demineralization, which resulted in a diagnosis of osteopenia as well as seven fractured ribs.
Plaintiff's ingestion of the TDF Drug caused and/or contributed to Plaintiff suffering bone demineralization which resulted in a diagnosis of bone density loss and a fracture of Plaintiff’s spine.
Plaintiff's ingestion of the TDF Drugs caused and/or contributed to Plaintiff suffering bone density loss requiring a double hip replacement.
Plaintiff's ingestion of the TDF Drug caused and/or contributed to Plaintiff suffering Fanconi Syndrome. Plaintiff's ingestion of the TDF Drug also caused and/or contributed to Plaintiff suffering bone demineralization, which resulted in diagnoses of osteoporosis and osteomalacia and a fracture to Plaintiff’s foot.
By 2009, plaintiff experienced severe pain in her hips and loss of balance. In 2010, she had to use a wheelchair after her hips failed. She had two hip replacement surgeries in 2011 and suffered complications during the second surgery. She had to go to the Intensive Care Unit for a blood transfusion and did not regain consciousness until hospital staff ran electricity through her body seven times.
I think that’s enough to paint the picture, although I could also remind you of the debilitating disease HAND, that can render patients into a vegetative state, and is associated with the “known neurotoxicity” of the drugs used to treat “HIV.”
Here’s the poll:

When I read those descriptions of demineralization, I can't help but wonder about all the people on PrEP who this is happening to, but they don't realize it yet because it's sub-clinical. That's what's so devastating about this, how many people on PrEP are having their bone density checked every 3 months? A lot of people take these drugs and don't experience overt side effects until it's too late.
I was in a class action lawsuit recently. Filed the claim.....and got nothing anyway. Never heard from them again after. Its so corrupted. Seems they just hope nobody cares about the tiny scraps they offer each individual and just dont bother. Then what happens to all the unclaimed money? Are class action lawsuits just another scam?
