It was a great talk. I'm watching it again to take more details.

For those interested in astrology, here's a link to Kary Mullis birth chart. There's a lot there, including a Star of David pattern, involving the Galaxy center, four personal planets, the Ascendant point, and the asteroid Ceres, which is particularly funny because it has to do with mass production, agriculture, cereal, yield and multiplication, like PCR. It's amazing!

The last point of the patterin is asteroid Victoria in 27º 5'31" of Leo, and it's not shown in that link.

It's a very fortunate chart. The chart of very happy professor who is a skeptic of everything. I wonder if Kary had a friend astrologer who told him about some of this.

In this link there's a documentary about cosmology:

Kary Mullis makes some comments around minute 40:45 and minute 46:38.

It's from 2004, before he appeared in "House of Numbers."

Hi Rebecca many thanks for this just finished reading the book, I would be very interested in a more detailed look into the PCR process and how they start from a raw sample and how the come up with positive/negative result from an amplification process, it's more clear with DNA fingerprinting or matching but not so clear with diagnostics, being of a mechanical mind I have to understand who process to know how this process works and how the results are interpreted and where this can go wrong. Thank you for your great work

Haven't had a chance to listen to the podcast yet (but I had the opportunity to meet and chat with Mullis way back when, and do plan to take this in soon!). In any case, wanted to draw you and your audience's attention to a X-post from a usually friendly account that could use some education on the fraudulent nature of the phrase "AIDS denialism." (They're using it to claim Thabo Mbeki's refusal to allow the country to submit to AZT poisoning for profit caused AIDS death in Africa ... ) https://x.com/wokal_distance/status/1904631953166676423
