I won’t be adding any commentary to this right now, although I will follow up on this very soon. However, this is bigger news than it might seem at first—yearly PrEP to replace the never-to-eventuate “HIV” vaccine, perhaps? All I have to say is that that trials for Lenacapavir remain ongoing and the drug has not been approved for PrEP; yet here Gilead—famously producers of the disastrous Truvada—is now pushing for a once yearly PrEP.
Gilead data suggest once-yearly shot of PrEP drug blocks HIV infection
One quick quote, bold face mine:
Last year, Gilead released data showing that an HIV drug, called lenacapavir, could provide virtually complete protection against infection with just a single injection every six months. The drug, now under regulatory review, was greeted as a breakthrough, the closest thing the field has ever had to a vaccine.
On Tuesday, Gilead published early data suggesting a new formulation of the drug could be used to prevent infection with just a single shot every year.
The hopes for an “HIV” vaccine have really, truly gone to die, have they not? I wonder why this might be…
Folks, watch the Rogan interview with Mel Gibson. They discuss Duseberg, AZT, RFKJ'S book. Interesting!
Having redefined antibody presence as a sign of infection rather than the sign of successful immunity makes it impossible to vaccinate in any traditional sense, doesn't it? One of those mystifying "HIV care" conceptual innovations.
