This strikes me as being adjacent to the recent Supreme Court ruling that abandons the Chevron doctrine. Essentially this board was dictating what people had to do, much like under the Chevron doctrine federal agencies were granted the right to interpret law as they saw fit, cuz they're the 'authorities' on a given subject. It's good there's some pushback on this, because we all know these agencies are only going to do things that promote the narrative.
