I’m an ME sufferer since the flu on 12/24/09 rendered me homebound confined to a recliner. My brother died on November 8, 2024 due to the end stages of Huntington’s disease which caused respiratory failure from the aspiration of his own saliva & anything swallowed causing persistent pneumonia. Though I desperately wanted to be by his side, he lived about eight hours away in Idaho and I could not tolerate leaving home! Thankfully, his precious wife conducted FaceTime visits for us, during those last 2 months & right up through the moment, he took his last breath! God bless her for how she supported me in the midst of her own suffering!! I understand the depth of your pain & send my sincerest condolences. I pray for God‘s comfort to surround you!
