I can’t believe it has gotten to this point, yet here we are. Now, PrEP is being offered to CHILDREN. (H/T Margo X.)
What are the benefits of Adolescent Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) meds?
Daily PrEP reduces the risk of getting HIV from sexual activity more than 90% when it’s taken as prescribed. The medication has been shown to reduce the risk of HIV in intravenous drug users by more than 70%.
Success rates are even higher when PrEP is combined with education and condom use. PrEP is not as effective if it is not taken consistently.
It’s interesting to me that the figure they cite is 90%, not the “>99%” often recited. Given that exposure presumably occurs over and over, anything less than close to 100% is basically useless… assuming one considers HIV to be sexually transmissible at all, which is in doubt.
What are the risks of Adolescent Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)?
There are no serious risks associated with PrEP HIV prevention treatment. There is a slight chance of reduced bone density. In a very small number of cases, it may cause kidney damage. Your child’s doctor will monitor your child’s health through regular lab work and check ups and adjust the medication’s dosage as needed.
No serious risks? Are you kidding me? Tell that to the Truvada victims. And what THE HELL parents are signing their kids up for PrEP? Yes, I’m well aware than teenagers are very often sexually active, but this is just ridiculous. What ever happened to condoms? Yeah, I know they’re not super fun, but there is significantly reduced risk to health and longevity associated with condom use than there is with daily chemotherapy for life. Plus, there are plenty of known (and probably yet unknown) STIs that PrEP does absolutely nothing to prevent, even per the legacy media. How are we supposed to deal with those?

Rebecca! Nevada just passed a law in the 2023 session that allows minor children OF ANY AGE to consent to certain medications, vaccines and medical devices. The sponsoring senator (Harris) did her entire bill presentation on PrEP for kids!!! It's getting real. They also passed another law that guarantees the distribution of PrEP drugs for prison/jail inmates and others in state welfare programs DURING A DECLARED PUBLIC EMERGENCY. No interruption of HIV drug flow no matter what. They're coming for our weakest and most vulnerable NOW.
Yes, beyond offensive indeed. This is downright medial child abuse, not to mention deceit, fraud, complete and utter betrayal of "trust" in one's doctor. Putting children on a daily dose of a toxic drug for life for a non-existent malady: "HIV infection", knowing that the alleged presence or absence of "HIV" has nothing to do with immune dysfunction!
