After I published yesterday’s post on the latest nothingburger PrEP study, it occurred to me that there is one clinical phenomenon that these PrEP studies are actually able to demonstrate, and that is that they are able to convince thousands of people to take toxic, nonspecific drugs for a condition they don’t even have, for years. That’s actually pretty impressive, if you think about it.
However, as long as the media and the medical establishment continue to promote this completely insane concept, I will continue to report on it. Today, I have for you two items. The first is just silly, and the second is also silly, but somehow alarming at the same time. First, we have our old buddy, Jason Rosenberg, of ACT UP, PrEP4All and attempted book banning fame, with a truly moronic post on X (he hasn’t blocked me, YET):
I have no comment. I really don’t need to make one. Just revel in the silliness, and my use of the word “silliness” is me being nice (ish).
Moving on, we have the following short video that appeared in the Longview News-Journal, presumably picked up from wire services. (Longview is literally down the road from where I live. It’s not a big city.)
The video is only one minute long, featuring a physician by the name of Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, and it packs a lot of weirdness into that minute. “PrEP is as easy as 1, 2, 3. In fact, I’d say it’s about as easy as cholesterol medicines. It’s about motivation.” I haven’t done a deep dive on cholesterol medicines yet, but rest assured I’m looking into it and I will be reporting on this, because the science behind it is pretty lackluster. Back to the video, note the coercive language—it’s about motivation. Clearly, people that refuse PrEP just aren’t motivated to “protect themselves.” And doctors that don’t prescribe it aren’t motivated to help them. Give me a break.
“Number two, if you can prescribe any medication, you can prescribe PrEP…. You don’t need any prior specific training. You don’t need to get an infectious disease doctor or HIV doctor to supervise what you’re doing.” Okay, let’s consider the fact that PrEP is Truvada. That’s what it is; the notorious TDF, the subject of massive litigation related to its toxicities, is the backbone of almost all PrEP medications. Kidney and bone density monitoring are recommended due to the serious adverse effects TDF has on those organs, but according to this video, you don’t need any specific training to monitor these patients who, again, are taking medication for a condition they show no hint of even having? The whole scheme is so ridiculous on the face of it, but now we’re going to completely throw caution to the wind and get rid of any last remaining safeguards that might have been in place? This smacks of desperation—the rate of “PrEP abandonment” is, apparently, unacceptably high. Drugs into bodies. (Anyone else remember that slogan? It worked, though evidently not as well as they want it to.)
Number 3 is the CYA announcement. “When you prescribe PrEP, make sure what follow up you need to do, what testing.” (I hope they refer to checking these poor people’s bones and kidneys, but they probably just mean “HIV” testing.) The final line in the video from the good Dr. Daskalakis is “And so start prescribing PrEP. You’ll see it’s really easy!” Yes, I’m sure it’s very easy for the doctor to do; it’s the patients who are now stuck in this lifelong cycle of “anti-HIV drugs” that they are strongly recommended to continue to take, regardless of “HIV status.” And don’t forget, it’s a win-win situation for the drug companies because if you’re unlucky enough to “seroconvert” while on PrEP, you get more drugs! What an incredible scam.
That’s all the propaganda I have for you today. As always, let me know what you think in the comments!

Their ability to acquire new patients to exploit is based on the ongoing propagandized fear of HIV, with all the attendant official misinfo it is based on.
It really is ridiculous prescribing PrEP for exactly the reason you describe. Putting people on chemo who aren't sick, unbelievable. The establishment has proclaimed great success in treating HIV, saying it's just a manageable condition now with the drugs being relatively side-effect free. If that's the case, why worry about blanket drug bombing lots of people to prevent it, if it's a cake walk to treat now? The big assumption with PrEP is that there are basically just about no down sides to taking it so hey, why not? This is the same with the covid shots, they're also billed as rarely having downsides...
