I’ve taken a small hiatus over the holidays (me and everyone else) but I am back and ready to tackle 2024! 2023 was quite the year, and I don’t expect things to be slowing down anytime soon. This post is intended to give you an update as to the direction this substack will be taking in 2024.
First and most importantly, The Real AIDS Epidemic is now becoming a joint publication! I know many of you already follow Neenyah Ostrom over at Chronic Illness & HHV6 Report, and many of you know that she wrote the foreword to my book, The Real AIDS Epidemic. I am super excited to let you know that as of 2024, Neenyah will be moving over here and publishing her amazing work for you on this site! If you haven’t checked out her website, you’re in for a treat.
How will this affect the content here? Honestly, I think the only change will be an enhancement. Our backgrounds are quite different; she has reported extensively on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and its connection to AIDS since the 1980s when she worked at The New York Native, whereas I only got involved in AIDS criticism in the mid-2000s, having come myself from the AIDS mainstream. I’ll include her full bio at the end of this post. We have differing but complementary areas of expertise, as well, and I think that combining those can only illuminate and provide fresh, relevant perspective to a “debate” (I use that term as loosely as possible since the AIDS establishment basically considers that stating “the debate is over” is sufficient to claim having won) that, quite frankly, has been stuck in a kind of Groundhog Day for decades at this point. We need to take a new direction if we’re going to really make progress, and I think that this collaboration is perfect for this.
As far as content is concerned, you can expect me to continue covering PrEP, the Truvada disaster, problems with diagnostic tests, and more. I’m also going to be spending a fair bit of time in the next month or so discussing the unfortunate abandonment of the concept of falsification by the AIDS mainstream. I’ll still be publishing several times per week. In addition to that, you’ll be getting new pieces from Neenyah weekly or twice weekly. I’m still finalizing the technical details, but any paid subscribers that we currently have will be getting both of our paid work for one price at this site. (I’ll make sure to post an update once I’ve ironed that out.)
I’ll be back this weekend but I wanted to let you all know about this exciting new development as soon as possible! 2023 was awesome, and 2024 is going to be even better.

Neenyah Ostrom was the first reporter in the United States to report weekly for a decade on ME/CFS. Her reporting on the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome epidemic from 1988-1997 is getting increased attention thanks to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. He discusses her work extensively in his 2022 bestseller, The Real Anthony Fauci. Ostrom’s groundbreaking reporting on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and AIDS appeared in the New York Nativefrom 1988 to 1997.
Ostrom is the author of four books about the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome epidemic: What Really Killed Gilda Radner? Frontline Reports On The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Epidemic, 50 Things Everyone Should Know About The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Epidemic and Its Link To AIDS, America’s Biggest Cover-Up: 50 More Things Everyone Should Know About The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Epidemic and Its Link To AIDS.Her most recent book, Ampligen: The Battle for a Promising ME/CFS Drug, is available as a Kindle ebook and paperback on Amazon.com. The coming months will see the publication of her new book, The Other AIDS Epidemic.
Two thumbs up as I follow both you and Neenyah! I still have hope that the truth will come out some day on the non-hiv aids-like cases and what pathogen is responsible. I look forward to posts from both of you!
It's all very well saying what isn't the cause of AIDS but at some point you have to say what caused it. You need to state clearly that the 1981 GRID cases were no mystery. How do you do that?
You combine this 1977 paper 'INFECTIOUS DISEASE SYNDROMES ATTRIBUTABLE TO CYTOMEGALOVIRUS' file:///C:/Users/User/Downloads/infectious_disease_syndromes_attributable_to.10%20(8).pdf
with this 1981 paper
'Prevalence of Cytomegalovirus Infection in Homosexual Men'
https://academic.oup.com/jid/article-abstract/143/2/188/815104?redirectedFrom=fulltext&login=false
and this paper 'Analysis of T lymphocyte subsets in cytomegalovirus mononucleosis' also published in 1981
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/6262407/
and you have GRID.
This is precisely what Michael Gottlieb did in this December 1981 paper
'Pneumocystis carinii Pneumonia and Mucosal Candidiasis in Previously Healthy Homosexual Men — Evidence of a New Acquired Cellular Immunodeficiency' https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/nejm198112103052401
where he named CMV as the main cause of GRID.
Unfortunately Gottlieb got excommunicated by the establishment as a consequence and only by recanting was he allowed back into the fold.
