Is there an HIV “reproducibility crisis”?

This is the audio version of a post I published in January. I have quite a few new readers, and I would love if you’d give this episode a listen. It’s about a topic that will likely get a lot of attention moving forward, and that topic is the reproducibility—or not—of many seminal HIV AIDS papers, that may not stand up to the close scrutiny, which inspires the question as to which of these papers ought to be retracted entirely.
