BREAKING ME/CFS NEWS: Important Audiobook Release from Author Hillary Johnson
"The Why: The Historic ME/CFS Call To Arms" is now available as an audiobook
For 36 years, I’ve read accounts from many, many ME/CFS patients detailing how their lives have deteriorated over time. In the worst cases, people with severe ME/CFS become very isolated, unable to leave their homes without suffering serious health consequences. In extreme cases, people with very severe ME/CFS become unable to gather the strength to talk with visitors or speak on the phone. They lack the mental concentration to watch TV or listen to the radio. They can’t read; their brains no longer translate written words into images and emotions.
That’s one reason the release of Hillary Johnson’s The Why: The Historic ME/CFS Call To Arms in audiobook format is so important to everyone who has or is concerned about ME/CFS.
In The Why, Johnson dissects the response of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to the appearance—and spread, and persistence—of ME/CFS.*
According to Amazon.com, Johnson “...makes the case that in lieu of undertaking realistic disease control methods, the agency [CDC] has instead mimicked techniques employed by major corporations to mislead and manipulate public opinion. Rather than admit mistakes or start anew, the agency has used corporate messaging and re-branding to mitigate damage control. ...”
The Why is an irreplaceable account of the science, politics, and “pseudo-science” that have governed the USA’s major disease control agency’s response to ME/CFS and the suffering that has resulted.

I've read the Kindle version of the book and it is EXCELLENT! To those who do better with audio, I would highly recommend this book. Maybe the next step (I hope) would be a Documentary / Movie to reach the public even further. The public has a right to know about ME/CFS and the long history of denial and neglect from the institutions that are supposed to protect us; the CDC, NIH and WHO. THANK YOU Hillary for detailing the history of this insidious disease.
All of this makes me think the government has something to do with there being ME/CFS and even "AIDS" patients.
